Bushcraft / Survival
Get back to basics and immerse yourself in nature for a day to remember on our Bushcraft Survival Day!
This experience is ideal for groups wanting to get out of the office for a stress-free, non-strenuous, fun day out.
You can choose between a half or full day and we also have a 24-hour option available. There are two parts to the experience:
1> Workshops: learn all the cool survival skills- fire-starting, shelter-building, navigation, emergency procedures and loads more.
2> Forest Ramble: we take a slow-paced walk through the native woodlands, exploring waterfalls and immerse ourselves in nature.
Bushcraft Day: Who’s for it?
Perfect for companies and groups who want to escape the fast-paced office life. You don’t need to be fit, there is some walking involved but it’s slow paced and the emphasis is on learning new skills and enjoying time in nature.
Packed lunch can also be provided.
Bushcraft Survival Day FAQs
This is not a fitness test, the walking is easy paced and we don’t climb big mountains.
Outdoor clothing for the day: rainjacket, strong footwear, comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
Showers are not a problem as we can run the event in the forest and erect shelters if needed. If it’s torrential then we may need to reschedule.
There is free parking available in Laragh Village. As with all unsupervised car parks you should not leave valuables in your car.
